Hello everyone.

The other day I posted on a Facebook Schöneiche group that I'm trying to expand my dog photography portfolio. I left it there to be approved, closed the laptop and didn't think much would come of it. I checked back in the next day and I was astounded by the overwhelming interest I had received in the last 24 hours.

Since then we've organised and booked a couple of shoots and have already completed two.

First up we had the giant fluffball and semi-professional bear impostor "Guinness". This happy-go-lucky, lumbering Newfoundlander was a delight to photograph. If you look quickly you can genuinely mistake him for a bear.

So without further adieu, here are some of our favourites photos from our first Schöneiche dog-shoot.

Stay tuned to see the photos from our second shoot that very same day.

In the meantime feel free to give the slowly growing "Bjorn's Pawtography" page on Instagram a follow.

So my wife and I have recently moved to Berlin.

We decided to move here because there are more opportunities for us in Europe and Berlin seems like a great place to start again as a creative couple.

We're currently based in Schöneiche bei Berlin which is an hour or so out of Berlin. It's an idyllic little town surrounded by forests, farms and lakes. We chose the outskirts because the lines for the notorious German paperwork are much shorter here and it gave us an easier introduction to Berlin rather accidentally booking an apartment next to Berghain.

Since we are new here we are restarting our website and our 2 Bees Wedding Photography business. We'll also be expanding into Commercial work and Pet Photography - the latter we are far more excited about. So while we are in Schöneiche bei Berlin, we will try to kickstart our dog photography side of things or as the Germans would call it "Haustierfotografie oder Hundefotografie". (That link is an inspiration of what we'll be striving to do).

That's it for now.

More updates to follow on integrating and running the gauntlet of German bureaucracy and immigration.
